Acceptance of these terms

By using PRISM, you agree to use the service responsibly and in line with these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use PRISM.

Eligibility and authority

You must be legally able to enter into these terms. If you use PRISM for a school, employer, or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that organisation and to provide the information you place in PRISM.

Accounts and responsibility

You are responsible for the account credentials and content you use with PRISM. Keep your sign-in details secure and contact support@prismclassroom.com if you believe your account access is at risk.

Educators and student information

Educators and organisations are responsible for deciding what student information to enter, obtaining any required permissions, and using PRISM consistently with the laws and policies that apply to them. Use only the minimum student information needed for your classroom purpose and avoid sensitive information unless it is necessary and permitted. PRISM does not automatically make a user or organisation compliant with FERPA, COPPA, GDPR, or another education or privacy law.

Plans and prices

PRISM offers a Free plan. Premium costs US$2.99 per month or US$29.99 per year. Pro costs US$4.99 per month or US$49.99 per year. Premium includes up to 20 saved lessons, 10 saved boards, 10 classes, all themes, and 2 GB of storage. Pro includes unlimited saved lessons, boards, and classes, all themes, and 10 GB of storage. Current plan details are also shown before checkout.

Purchases, Creem, and taxes

Creem acts as the merchant of record for paid PRISM subscriptions. Creem processes payment, provides buyer invoices or receipts, and handles applicable VAT, sales tax, and other indirect taxes. You provide payment and billing details to Creem, and your purchase is also subject to the Creem Buyer Terms. PRISM does not store your full payment-card number. Prices shown by PRISM may exclude taxes that Creem calculates and displays during checkout.

Automatic renewal and cancellation

Premium and Pro subscriptions renew automatically for the same billing interval at the then-current price unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel a subscription through the billing controls made available by PRISM or Creem. Cancellation stops future renewal; paid access normally continues through the end of the already-paid period and then returns to the Free plan. Deleting a PRISM account and cancelling a subscription are separate actions, so cancel the subscription before deleting the account.

Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, Creem may retry the payment or ask you to update your payment method. PRISM may temporarily retain paid access while the payment is past due, but may limit or return the account to the Free plan if payment is not completed.

Refunds

Except where required by law or stated during checkout, subscription payments are not refundable merely because you stop using PRISM or cancel partway through a billing period. For a billing error or refund request, contact support@prismclassroom.com. Creem may administer an approved or legally required refund as merchant of record.

Price changes

PRISM may change paid-plan prices. If a change affects an existing subscription, PRISM or Creem will give advance notice where required and the new price will apply no earlier than a future renewal, subject to applicable law. You may cancel before that renewal if you do not accept the new price.

Acceptable use

Do not use PRISM to upload, create, store, or share unlawful, harmful, abusive, infringing, or intentionally disruptive content. Do not attempt to interfere with the service, bypass access controls, or misuse PRISM's integrations.

Your content

You keep ownership of lesson materials, class information, uploaded content, and other content you create or add to PRISM. You give PRISM the technical permission needed to store, process, display, back up, and export that content so the service can function.

Third-party services and embeds

PRISM connects with or uses services such as Creem, Supabase, Vercel, Google, YouTube, Google Slides/Docs, Canva, KLIPY, and Pexels. Those services may have their own terms and privacy practices. PRISM is not responsible for third-party content, availability, or policies.

Service availability and changes

PRISM is in active development. Features may change, improve, move, or be removed as the product is refined. PRISM may be unavailable from time to time due to maintenance, provider outages, browser changes, or development work.

PRISM intellectual property

The PRISM name, interface, design, and application code are part of the PRISM product. These terms do not grant permission to copy, resell, or redistribute PRISM itself.

Suspension or termination

Access may be limited, suspended, or ended if an account is used in a way that harms the service, other users, or PRISM's operation.

Disclaimers and limitations

PRISM is provided as an early-stage classroom tool without a service-level guarantee. Use professional judgment when relying on PRISM in classroom settings, and keep appropriate backups of important materials.
